- Before placing an advert you must register. All information provided will remain confidential.
- Registering with EU Rentals Direct is free and straight forward.

- Once you are registered you can log into Home Management and place an advert.

4. Creating An Advert |

Can I put a link to my website from EU Rentals Direct ? |

- Yes you may. However we do ask that should you do this that you place a link to us from your website.

Make you listing interesting and attractive. |
| |
- When listing your property be sure to describe your property in detail, list all its features.
- Include a description of the region and town.
- Take photos of the property inside and out and if possible of the surrounding area / town.
- Do not upload dark photos as this will impair your advert.

Can I make amendments to my advert once it is launched? |
| |
- Yes, you can log into your account at any time to make changes to the advert, prices, in fact most aspects of your advert can be changed including the photos. Location cannot be changed.
- You can pause your ad at anytime but you cannot delete it. If you wish to have your ad deleted please contact us at support@eurentalsdirect.com

Can I list more than one property on my advert ? |

- No, this would be considered a breach of our contract, your advert is to display one property only. It must be a genuine / actual property and not a sample / similar property being offered.

Can you setup my advert for me? |
| |
- Yes we can – please contact us at support@eurentalsdirect.com advising us of your request. We do not charge for this service – however we must point out that as it is your property and you know it better than us, you must supply all text and photos.

My property location is not listed on your website. |

- If your Country, Region or Sub Region etc is not listed on our site please contact us at support@eurentalsdirect.com and we will add your region etc within 24 hours.
- Also please note if your region is not showing on our site at the moment it is because we have no properties in that region listed. However as properties are listed the regions and town will appear.

- The standard sizes of photos on our site are 320x240 pixels, this is also the minimum sized required.
- Our panoramic photos are 647x240 pixels.
- Where possible, please resize your photos before uploading.
- Our server will time out if the photo is too large.
- Resizing your pictures to a width of 640 pixels will speed up the upload process.

Can I create an ad in a language other than English? |

- Unfortunately the answer is no. All adverts must be in English however, we are currently considering translating adverts from French and Spanish into English, other languages are to follow. If you require this service please contact us at support@eurentalsdirect.com

The property I wish to advertise is for Holiday Rentals only, is it ok to advertise on your web site.

Scams & Fraud Prevention Tips For Travellers |
| |
EU Rentals Direct is not a property management company and we do not inspect the properties that list on our website. While fraud is extremely rare, it can happen. The tips below are intended to help travelers avoid fraud.
- Fraud warning signs include an unusually low price, uncertainty regarding the exact property location, or any suspicious behavior of the property owner or manager.
- If possible, pay with a credit card. Credit cards typically offer protection in the event that your accommodation is not supplied as promised.
- If paying by Cheque or Money Order, take additional precautions and try to avoid using wire transfers such as Western Union.
- Proceed very cautiously if you must make an international payment using a money order or wire transfer.
- Speak to the owners/managers on the telephone as opposed to just email.
- Ask for references from past renters.
- Request the street address of the property rented and look it up on one of the internet based map sites, such as mapquest.com or google maps.
- Ask the owner where else the property is advertised on the Internet and for how long.
- Never give out personal financial information (bank account number, social security number, etc.)
- Trust your feelings, if it feels wrong or sounds to good to be true, be careful.
- Ask for additional photos that are not on the web site such as the property from another angle.

Scams & Fraud Prevention Tips For Owners / Landlords |
| |
EU Rentals Direct does not require travellers to register and verify who they are before contacting a property owner. Therefore we ask that you trust your own judgement when giving out details.
- Fraud warning signs include an unusal methods of payment. Such as "send you an overpayment, then request you send them back the difference. This is a scam and the cheque will bounce. Be wary of accepting cashier cheques or money orders (banks will cash them and then hold you responsible when the fake is discovered weeks later)
- Speak to the traveller on the telephone and do not complete the transaction through emails alone.
- Ask for their home address, verify that it exsits using google or other mapping systems.
- Always get a telephone number and call it to make sure that it is genuine. Get a place of work number.
- Get a reference where possible.
- Never give out personal information (drivers licence number, social security number, etc.)
- Trust your gut, if it doesn`'t feel right it probably isn't.
- If it is a genuine traveller they will not mind supplying you the information.
